Terms of Use

1. Entertainment only. ShenTarot is for entertainment and self-reflection. Readings are generated by AI, are not predictions, and are not medical, legal, financial, psychological or other professional advice. Do not rely on them for any decision about your health, money, safety or legal position. If you are in crisis, contact your local emergency services or a qualified professional.

2. Eligibility. You must be at least 13 years old, or have a parent or guardian's permission.

3. Subscriptions. Premium is an auto-renewing subscription (monthly, every 3 months or annual; the price, billing period and any introductory offer (such as a lower price for the first month) are shown before you buy, in your local currency). Payment is charged to your Apple ID or Google Play account at confirmation of purchase. It renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. An introductory offer, if any, renews at the full price shown unless you cancel at least 24 hours before it ends; any unused free trial is forfeited when you buy. Manage or cancel in your App Store or Google Play account settings (the app links there). Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their policies.

4. Acceptable use. Do not misuse the service: no automated access, reverse engineering to bypass limits, attempts to make the AI produce harmful content, or overloading the service. We apply usage limits and may block abuse. Reading credits are being introduced. Once they are available in the app, everyone receives 2 new credits every day when they use the app, and Premium members also receive new credits every month: 150 (annual), 120 (3-month) or 90 (monthly). One credit pays for one AI reading or one follow-up question. Unused credits roll over and never expire, up to 10 days' worth of daily credits and 2 months' worth of monthly credits held at a time, and no more than 50 credits can be used in one day. Credits you buy are not part of those limits. If you delete the app, credits held without a subscription or account are lost; Premium members get their credits back by restoring purchases on the new install, and signing in keeps credits on any install. New users receive 10 welcome credits once. When you invite a friend with your code, you and your friend each receive 10 credits after your friend finishes their first reading; you are rewarded for at most 20 friends a year. Creator program (when available in the app): if you post about ShenTarot with #shentarot (and #ad or #gifted) and send us the link and a screenshot, you receive 10 credits per post (one post a day, eight a month, each post once), and a post that reaches 50 likes, once we have checked it, earns one free month of Premium (at most once every 60 days and six a year). Do not ask for or buy likes; we may refuse or reverse rewards for fake activity. We keep the screenshot for 30 days to check it, then delete it.

5. Content. Your questions are used only to generate your reading (see the Privacy Policy). Readings are provided for your personal use. Card artwork used in the app is in the public domain or original; the Rider-Waite-Smith name is not used as our brand.

6. Availability and changes. We may change, suspend or discontinue features. AI output may be inaccurate, odd or unavailable at times.

7. No warranty; limits of liability. The app is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing limits liability that cannot be limited by law (including for consumers).

8. Governing law. Singapore law, Singapore courts, without limiting any mandatory consumer rights you have under the law of the place where you live.

9. Changes to these terms. We will update the date above; continued use means acceptance.

10. Accounts (optional). You can use ShenTarot without an account. If you sign in with Google or Apple, keep access to that sign-in secure. You can delete your account at any time in the app or as described on our account deletion page; deleting it does not cancel a subscription.
