Questions
Is ShenTarot free?
Yes, to start. You get a free Card of the Day and free AI readings with up to three cards every day once you sign in. Premium adds more.
Do I need an account?
Only for AI readings. You can draw cards and look up meanings without one. For AI readings, sign in with Google or Apple, so there is no new password to create.
Do I need my own tarot deck?
No. You can scan your own Rider-Waite-Smith deck with the camera, or draw cards on screen from the full 78-card deck.
Is the photo of my cards uploaded?
No. Cards are recognised on your phone and the photo is never saved or sent. Only the card names and your question are used to write the reading.
How does the AI tarot reading work?
ShenTarot picks a spread for your question, then writes a reading from the cards you drew, their positions and whether they are upright or reversed. You can ask a follow-up about it.
Can tarot predict the future?
ShenTarot is for entertainment and self-reflection. Readings help you think through a question; they are not predictions or professional advice.
