What the card shows
A woman kneels beside a pool, pouring water from two jugs, one onto land and one into the pool. A large eight-pointed star shines above her with seven smaller ones, and a bird perches in a tree behind.
Seventeen comes right after the Tower, so this is calm after upheaval. The two jugs are about giving back to the earth and to yourself. Aquarius, the usual sign, is the water-bearer, linked with hope and openness.
