Traditional association: Libra

What the card shows

A crowned figure in a red robe sits between two pillars. One hand holds an upright sword and the other a pair of scales. A purple veil hangs behind.

In this deck Justice is numbered eleven. The scales weigh, the sword cuts through, and the figure is seated, so the card is about calm judgment and cause and effect. Libra, the usual sign, is the sign of the scales.
